Session 1:

Evaluating your past professional career and discussing your opportunities in the U.S.A.

In the first session we will

·         Review your education, your professional life and your experience in the past

·         Talk about your expectations

·         Discuss your chances in the new market

·         Draw a realistic picture of your future career in the U.S.A.

·         Discuss how we can help you achieve your goals

 

 

Session 2:

Looking into he first steps to a new life

  The second session is focusing on what you can do to explore the possibilities out there. We will talk about topics such as

·         Discussing some basic information about the differences in the professional world and its educational system

·         Looking into the possibility of continued education

·         Discussing eventual requirements

·         Looking into the Pros and Cons of alternate choices

 

 

Session 3:

Creating a career plan

In session three we will work together to create a step-by-step plan that will help you to achieve your goal

 

Session 4:

Taking action

This session will help you to get started with the first steps, e.g.

·         Analyzing and evaluating different options you might have

·         Selecting the option that best fits you

·         Discussing necessary preparations, e.g.

·         Visa if applicable

·         Applications

·         Fulfillment of requirements

·         Resume

·         Interviews

 

 

Session 5:

 

Reviewing and adjusting your career plan

These sessions is about reviewing the outcome of your first steps and if necessary rework your career plan to meet your goals.

 

 

 

 

Who should attend:

Spouses of foreign assignees who intend

 

·         to work in the U.S.A.

·         and/or to continue their education during their stay in the U.S.A.
